Overview
Upsignum ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Usage data. When you visit the Platform, we may automatically collect standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent. This is used solely for operational purposes (e.g. diagnosing errors).
Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how users interact with the Platform — for example, which dashboards are viewed or which filters are used. When you sign in, we associate your activity with an anonymous account identifier (your Supabase user ID). We do not send your email address or name to PostHog.
No account data. We do not currently require you to create an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information unless you choose to contact us directly.
Cookies
The Platform may use cookies or similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) to remember your preferences and improve performance. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the Platform may not function correctly as a result.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
- Understand usage patterns to guide product development
- Diagnose technical issues and ensure security
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
The Platform uses third-party data providers (including Yahoo Finance) to source market data. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these providers. Analytics tools we use may set their own cookies and collect data subject to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
Server logs and aggregated analytics data are retained for a limited period (typically 90 days) for operational purposes and are then deleted.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights or ask questions about this policy, please contact us. EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR.
Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
